Marc Stanghieri

Marc is a leading shareholder advisory expert specialising in proxy solicitation and investor engagement.

He has been the lead adviser on proxy strategies for over $130bn worth of M&A transactions and bids. His career includes leading Australia's top-ranked proxy solicitation team at Morrow Sodali before founding PGS Advisers, where he continues to provide independent counsel on major M&A transactions and shareholder initiatives.

PGS Advisers grew rapidly after its establishment with appointments to over $30bn of listed and unlisted M&A transactions. Supported by industry veteran Murray Williams as Chairman, Marc has built PGS Advisers on the foundational principles of independence, confidentiality, and client success.

After leaving Morrow Sodali in early 2024 where Marc Stanghieri was Head of M&A and Activism, Mr Stanghieri received a referral to the Chair and CEO of an ASX200 company to provide bespoke corporate governance consulting services. Marc established PGS Advisers to provide these services before officially expanding into M&A proxy solicitation later in 2024.
